This weekend November 20th and 21st we are having our grand opening for “Linda Rauch Gallery”. I would like to invite you to come join us on the “Spicewood Art and Wine Tour” this weekend. We will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.M. through 5:00 p.m. We will have refreshments, as well as gorgeous art displays both inside and out. There are nine participants on the “Spicewood Art & Wine Tour” this fall. To see a map and get a sneak peak at what the artists will have on display, you can go to http://www.ArtandWine.org The weather has been absolutely gorgeous for a country drive through the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The leaves are just starting to turn red on the sumac and some golden colors are showing on other trees. We have numerous decks and outside sitting areas to enjoy Rick’s wind sculptures and wind dancers from. If you venture up to our “Crow’s Nest” deck you will be able to look at the view I saw when I painted “Cotton Candy”. This painting was inspired from our deck in the clouds one early morning in the spring. Lake Travis was still warm and the cold air caused the foggy steam to rise. The wildflowers framed the lake view while the stunning sunrise splashed pink over the clouds, causing them to look like “Cotton Candy” to me. I have named the painting “COTTON CANDY”. This painting is on display in “Linda Rauch Gallery” and can be seen on the tour. You can go to the landscape section on my web site to obtain more information on this painting.
