I painted this piece
when I was in
Taos, New
Mexico. My
studio and home in
Taos were on the
side of a mountain
that I planted in
wildflowers. The
flowers that came
up were stunning.
I had two acres of
many different
wildflowers. This
particular painting
was near the
stream that ran
through my back
yard. It is
impressionistic in
feel, and reminisent
of Monet's Water
Lily series.
