These bright and happy
poppies were in a field of
wildflowers along the side of
a country road in early
summer. They were so
interesting as their blossoms
bobbed up and down that
they reminded me of a happy
parade with marching band
music playing. Their brilliant
colors against the clear blue
sky was so stunning that I
just had to put them on
canvas.
