This drawing was done
as a gift for my husband
Brian Neff. Brian died in
April of 1997. Brian
loved to bass fish with
this lure. The grouping
of the lures was inspired
by a favorite mexican
restaurant of mine in
Austin called Chuy's.
Chuy's has masses of
paper mache fish hanging
from the ceiling of the
restaurant. When the air
conditioning blows the
paper mache fish they
appear as they are
swimming. It was a
thank you gift to Brian
for taking care of my
four year old son David.
Brian took care of David
for me during the time
that I was taking an
advanced drawing class
at the University of Texas.
