My studio is above the tree
tops in the Texas Hill Country.
From my studio window I am
able to see incredible sunsets. On
the days that the wind blows, the
clouds spread across the sky in
amazing spirals and twists.
Sometimes the clouds with
the sun on them look like they
are a rainbow of dazzling colors.
This painting combines these
cloud rainbows with buffalo as
they are preparing to bed down
for the night. The tall grass is the
native grass in front of my home
as it was blowing in the wind..
