This bright little painting was
inspired by a field of
wildflowers on the side of a
hill. I wanted to capture the
vivid bright colors and the
feeling of the tangled mass of
flowers that was there. I
chose to use a hard edge
semi-abstract style because I
felt that I could show the
vivid colors better this way.
The painting is so bright that it
reminds me of a "Fiesta".
