“FOOT PRINTS” acrylic 36″ x 48″ $3900.00

5 April 2012

“Many people will walk in and out of our lives…………but only a few will leave “FOOT PRINTS” in our hearts.”

Although the time flew by like a cloud in the wind, a bird on the wing, or a vanishing butterfly, there is love that will last forever, and memories that will shine like the light of a faraway star. Painted in loving memory of my mother: Wanda Mae Rauch….[January 1, 1924 - January 24, 2012] who gave me the incredible gift of flowers, my love of painting, and who left her “FOOT PRINTS” deep inside my heart.

“Country Morning” acrylic 24″ x 36″ $2000

2 December 2011

Each spring my husband and I drive through the country to enjoy the wildflowers. We usually leave early in the morning and make an entire day of it. This particular painting is a combination of several places that we drove to. I loved the bright flowers in the sunlight, and the old wooden fence. The Hill Country around Fredericksburg, Texas, is absolutely stunning once the flowers bloom! This painting combines the brilliant colors of the flowers, with the peacefulness of the country.

“Summer” Giclee on canvas

31 August 2011

I was inspired by two completely different summer scenes when I created this painting. One was a country ride that I went on in the Hill Country, and the other was from a group of gorgeous wildflowers that were growing. The painting combines both of these scenes together. “Summer” has the bright happy colors of summer wildflowers, combined with the peacefulness that you feel in a country setting. I was intrigued with the challenge of combining peaceful feelings with intensely bright colors when I painted this.

Copper Butterfly. 9×9″ $35.00

30 June 2011

This gorgeous butterfly was created by copper sculptor Rick Hewitt. Its intense colors are chemical burns into the copper. Each butterfly is hand cut, hammered and burned. All of the butterflies are completely different in coloring. Each butterfly is a Rick Hewitt original. You can attach them to walls, fences, bird baths and trees by using the hook on the back of the butterfly. These butterflies will stay with you even during the cold winter months.
They are available at “Linda Rauch Gallery” and on our web site.
