This is a mixed media drawing using colored pencil, oil pastels and pencil. It was inspired from snorkeling in Grand Cayman Island. It is a combination of the lines that I thought were interesting on one shell.

My brother Jimmy lives in Grand Cayman Island. After a holiday to visit with my brother and snorkel, I came home and drew a series of pictures that were inspired by the Caribbean sea. This is a mixed media drawing using ink wash, ink, and pencil.

This was inspired from my trip to Grand Cayman Island to visit my brother Jimmy. It is
a mixed media drawing that combines several different shells as they may have looked on the bottom of the ocean floor. It is a very sensual drawing that depicts the motion you feel when the waves move. It is charcoal pencil, pencil and ink wash.

A favorite sea shell of mine is the nautilus.  This shell came from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  I lived in Australia for 8 years.  I combined this shell with a favorite necklace and lovely piece of lace that belonged to a grandmother.   This is a mixed media drawing using watercolor, ink wash, colored pencil and oil pastel.
